I had an amazing experience at precious eyes with Dr. Jasmine! She took all the time to do my eye exam while making sure all of my doubts and queries were resolved. The staff made the procedure extremely comfortable while giving practical and helpful advice. They have a friendly atmosphere with an experienced team that is always willing to help out. :)

I had a fantastic experience here. Dr. Ghotra was able to quickly diagnose my vision problems after I've tried for many years to get my prescription right. She also took the time to explain exactly what she was seeing with my eyes, what I can expect over the next few years,and what I can do to take care of my vision. I also got my glasses from there and the turnaround was incredibly quick. Finally I have a prescription that's correct, glasses that look fantastic, and am able to take better care of my eye health. I was sent to see Dr Ghotra by my Specialist because of sudden severe deterioration of my eyesight. Dr Ghotra performed a full eye exam and noted that I had several issues the most important one being glaucoma. We were very impressed with how thorough Dr Ghotra's exam was and how she explained everything she was doing step by step. We were also impressed how she explained all of the issues she had found and then explained the effects each issue has on eyesight. Dr Ghotra scheduled an appointment with Dr. Chu to further investigate the outcomes of her exam. Dr Ghotra's service was excellent. She was very patient and took the time to answer any questions my wife and I had. Her office is in a brand new building and all of her equipment is brand new and up to date. Dr Ghotra's assistant Gagan was also excellent. She was very polite and friendly. We were very grateful that Dr Ghotra made special arrangements for us to come in for an emergency exam during the Covid pandemic. Dr Ghotra and her assistant were very professional and ensured that they had on masks and gloves and a face shield at all times during our appointment. Dr. Jasmine Ghotra BSc, O.D
Dr. Ghotra earned a Doctor of Optometry Degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois after graduating from the University of British Columbia with Bachelor of Science in Biology.
As a part of her optometry curriculum, Dr. Ghotra completed her externships in Ocular Disease management and treatment, Specialty Contact lens, Pediatrics and Vision Therapy at Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago and Low vision at Veteran Affair’s Medical Hospital at West Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Ghotra holds special interest in Pediatric vision care, Myopia and Dry Eye Management and Contact lens fitting. She performs comprehensive eye exams for all ages with emphasis on ocular health.
She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients by addressing their key concerns and making a difference in their daily lives. She is a certified by College of Optometrists of British Columbia. She is also a active member of British Columbia Doctors of Optometry (BCDO) and The Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).
She is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi. She likes to volunteer and give back to the community. When she is not delivering heath care, she likes to spend time with her family and friends and enjoy Mother Nature.
